If you suffer from post tubal ligation syndrome, you may wonder why more doctors don’t seem very interested in helping you find relief from your symptoms. You read so many stories online about all the suffering many women go through and you just wonder what is going on. It’s even more surprising when you learn that reports of PTLS have been around since the 1950s.
So, again, why is nothing being done for the most part. Let’s use an article from medicinenet.com as a source of information on why. The article says a Dr. Stephen Corson and other doctors simply think the cause is due to aging and not using birth control pills any more. In fact the article says Dr. Corson counsels women to go off birth control pills for several months before having their tubes tied.
What is really strange about this conclusion is that so many women simply don’t fit into this category. However, no mention of this is made in the article so one is left wondering how the doctor explains symptoms in women who were in their 20s when they had a tubal ligation and started suffering from Post Tubal Syndrome, as it is also called, during the same decade of life. Nor does it explain the many women who had tubals done right after delivering a child. That means they weren’t on birth control of any kind.
For instance we have the case of Tracy who had a “baby oops” after her planned two children. Figuring they had three healthy children and because her husband wanted a sure thing for birth control, she had her tubes tied when she delivered her third child by C-section. Tracy is older, having the last child at 40, so maybe the aging could have some effect, but certainly not to the extent she has suffered. And birth control pills play no part as you can readily see.
Then there is Linda who had her tubal ligation at 21 right after the birth of her child. For the next 14 years, Linda suffered headaches, mood swings, heavy heavy periods, and other symptoms. She spent most of her 20s, nine years, living with the after effects of her operation to ensure she had no more children. No warnings from her doctor either on possible side effects. This is certainly a case where neither aging nor birth control was the factor in PTLS.
Let’s take a look at Dannygirl as she is called on the tubal-reversal.net message board. Although she did not have her tubes tied right after the birth of her daughters, she did have it done only a month and a half later. Even if she was on birth control pills, I doubt that was long enough to really cause a major upset with her system going off them and certainly not the awful symptoms she suffers after her tubal. Match that up with the fact that she was only 19 when she had the surgery and you can see age doesn’t play a part here either.
If we go back to the article from medicinenet.com, you can read that many women are put onto birth control after the tubal ligation surgery to control the symptoms they experience. Seems rather a strange way to do things. Isn’t tubal ligation supposed to be birth control? But the women still have to take pills to control symptoms that are side effects of the surgery? Well, certainly that proves that birth control pills, or more precisely going off them after the surgery, are the cause of all the symptoms.
However, birth control is not the only option open to women who suffer. Two other alternatives include more surgery. One is to have a hysterectomy which will have its own effects on your body. The other is to have a tubal reversal done. You will have to look hard to find a really good doctor who is truly qualified to perform that operation but you may find it is the best option for you to remove the pain of post tubal ligation syndrome.

Before you decide on signing up for horse training classes, ask yourself the following questions to determine whether this is the right track for you.
1. Are you interested in horse training? 2. Do you participate in horse shows and watch horse rases? 3. Are you willing to acquire knowledge about the kinds of horse feeds on the market, as well as the required dietary allowance for each type of horse? 4. Are you okay to groom horses day in and day out? 5. Will you not feel silly when you are called for to talk to them? This is necessary because studies show that horses obey more through human contact, especially the human voice. 6. Are you encouraging? 7. Are you a leader? 8. Can you put tacks or harnesses on the horse in order for them to be habitual to the equipment? 9. Will you be willing to ride the horses and to observe their behavior with each temperament required of you? 10. Do you have the patience to train them?
The ten basic questions that you have to answer are commonly asked by horse training instructors if you wish to be around horses. Due to the fact that being around horses can be very dangerous so it is only fair that the aspiring horse trainer knows what he is going to put himself into.
There are usually some expectations from each horse trainer when you choose horse training as a career because it is just like any other career. Mostly the owners would like the trainer they chosen to handle their beloved horses can stop from kicking, resisting grooming and bolting every time their reins aren’t secured.
A job as a horse trainer needs a lot of patience and dedication. That is why when answering the ten questions, answer them honestly so that you have a better idea what horse training career is all about. As a horse trainer you are the one teaching the riding, driving and racing techniques to the horse. You are doing your job well as a horse trainer well if you can bestow the horse the knowledge, the plan training as well as the techniques. However, the owners are free to pay independent operators or have their horses put at a training school. Whatever they decide to do, horse trainers are in demand.
Some horse trainers are knowledgeable about the mating of horses. They pair up a stallion to a mare, depending on the horse type, in order to come up with a good breed of foal. This can be a good investment. We know that the finer the breed of the horse, the more expensive they are. We all realize how much a horse costs.
Horse training as a career can be a good investment as long as your head and your heart are in what you’re doing.

For those of you who do not know, a wedding is a legal ceremony that commences a union between two people; the attitude of western populations towards marriage has undergone many changes recently. Whatever the background and history to marriage, it is still a legal union between two people; a legal document called a marriage license must be signed before the law recognizes a couple is married. The names bridegroom and bride extend around the world; they are then referred to by the title husband and wife, once they are married.
Religious Wedding Ceremonies
Other wedding traditions vary according to the religion, race, ethnic group and even class the couple may belong too. Although it may seem like the world has turned away from the Christian religion generally, it has not stopped the popularity of a Church ceremony. The traditional white wedding as we know it is really only a service that is popular in the United States, the United Kingdom, Ireland and some other Commonwealth countries.
Multiple Ceremonies
A different type occasion often difficult to arrange is where two couples are married simultaneously; typically, a person with a brother or sister might plan this type of occasion with that sibling.
Marriages in Another Country
Marriages in foreign countries are called destination weddings where guests can arrive either just before the ceremony or actually travel with the couple; it doesn’t matter exactly where you travel to, whether it is in Egypt or just to Las Vegas it will still be considered a destination wedding.
Activity Weddings
Weekend weddings are becoming popular and in Ireland they take place over the course of three days. To cater for an expanding market a number of companies arrange special themed occasions that incorporate anything from golf to surfing. Accommodation for these is normally arranged at the place where the service is going to take place and where the other events are also being held.
Online Ceremonies
Although it has not really caught on yet, a few bold and different people have decided to tie the knot online but it may be sometime before this style of wedding really becomes more popular; planning is made easy however, with online guides that list reliable and friendly vendors. Marriages that are broadcast live online are also referred to as online weddings.
Civil Ceremonies
Elected and appointed officials can carry out a marriage ceremony which is usually called a civil wedding. Religion doesn’t normally play a part in these ceremonies because they are purely a legal requirement. Many civil ceremonies take place in local town or city halls or courthouses in judge’s chambers. This brief article has tried to explain what a wedding as carried out in the Western world.

Whether you are selling your home or you just want to make sure it looks great, curb appeal is going to be important. The first impression that people get of your home is based upon how it looks from the curb. So, if you want to make sure that you give a good impression, you may need to dress up the front yard a bit. Not sure where to begin? Well, here are a few front yard landscaping ideas to try.
When it comes to landscaping yards for better curb appeal, it is important that you come up with some displays that look pleasant and beautiful. Add some objects to the front lawn that attract some wildlife, which can add to the way your lawn looks. Simply adding a bird bath, a bird feeder, or even color plants to attract birds and butterflies, can do a whole lot for the curb appeal of your home.
A sitting area is a great idea as well. This provides a place that looks cozy and homey. Of course not only does it look great, but you’ll have a great place to sit and enjoy the scenery or even to have a chat with the neighbors next door. Just adding a couple park style benches will do a whole lot for the way your home looks.
Of course a nice swing is a great way to add some appeal and a place to sit as well. A nice swing under a tree definitely looks charming. You can even enhance the way it looks by placing some plants and flowers around it to make it look attractive and colorful.
A wonderful idea when landscaping is to incorporate flowers. Flowers always enhance the beauty of a yard. The yard is instantly made to look more inviting and cheery by planting flowers. So for a great look consider using some colorful flowers in the front yard.
It is better to plant both annuals and perennials when planting flowers even though some prefer to plant only certain types of plants in the yard. The annuals will only last for a season but the perennials will continue to bloom every year. A great variety of flowers that will bloom during the various seasons is achieved by mixing them together.
A green yard is immensely important when it comes to implementing landscaping ideas for the front yard. The look of your home from the curb is increased by a vibrant green yard. To achieve the best look make sure the yard is kept green and properly maintained.
When landscaping you can add statues or water fountains as well, the possibilities are endless. What are you waiting for? Go landscape and watch the curb appeal skyrocket.

Many a time when you visit with a friend or relative one of their children will drag you out to see their pet guinea pig, but have you ever stopped and asked yourself what you know about these delightful pets?
They are quite fascinating animals who have not always been domesticated as they are today, so just where do they come from and how did they get that strange name?
Well, guinea pigs are technically known as Cavies, and they are a part of what we know of as the rodent family.
These delightful animals have been around for millions of years, and we know this because of fossilised remains that have been uncovered and it is only relatively recently that they have become a family pet.
They used to be much larger than they are today, and again, going back to those fossils, it has been found that they averaged 9 feet in lenght! Thats some guinea pig!
The first people to domesticate the guinea pig were the Incas, and South America is where they were first discovered. They were, and still are revered as both an Icon, and a source of food, in many South American countries.
In many parts of Peru they are thought very highly of because of their apparent ability to heal the sick and bring comfort and solace to the dying as they move into the next life.
These lovely creatures came to Europe and America courtesy of the sailors who brought them to sell for, guess what, a guinea, and that is where part of their name came from.
The second part of their name, pig, comes from their likeness, at the rear end, to pigs, and also to the fact that they tend to squeal a bit like pigs.
They have also been used quite a bit over the years in the field of research, and you have probably heard and used the expression “we are using him as a guinea pig”
Medical science has benefited greatly from the use of guinea pigs in their laboratories but of course although they have saved many a human life, the cost in the lives of the guinea pigs has been high.
We are still using guinea pigs for research even today, distasteful as this might sound to you, but I am assured that they are not hurt or mistreated in any way.
Have you ever thought of giving a guinea pig as a present to somebody? Well that’s what they do in many parts of South America and it is considered to be a present that impresses the receiver.
Isn’t it amazing that what is in effect a rodent could become such a popular pet? During a recent survey it was found that guinea pigs came just fourth in popularity behind dogs, cats and rabbits.
Well now, the next time your friend’s children show you their latest pet I think you will look at it with different eyes.
