A fertility calculator can help you pinpoint when you’re next going to ovulate. What is a fertility calc, you ask? It’s not a technical gadget that requires a degree to operate… it’s a simple online calculator that lets you plug in a few numbers to work out the best time to conceive.

Many women have used fertility calculators when finding it difficult to conceive and have been successful! Believe it or not, a woman can only conceive 12-24 hours out of the month and usually the problem is simply bad timing.

The variables needed to work out your time of ovulation are usually the same. It doesn’t matter whether you’re using a paper calendar or a high-tech fertility calculator, you still need to use accurate data to get the best results.

You’re most likely to be asked when your last period started, the number of days in your menstrual cycle and sometimes these calculators want to know information about your luteal phase.

Now, the way you get these numbers is quite simple. Get a calendar and write down the first day of your last two periods. Okay, start counting days from the first day of your last period until the day before your most recent period; this is the number of days in your cycle. This number can be anywhere from 20-45 days, with 28 days being the average.

Figuring out your luteal phase can be a little tricky. Most women have never heard of a luteal phase, let alone know when it occurs. If you don’t know this at first it is okay, a good rule of thumb is 14 days. The luteal phase is the time between ovulation and the beginning of your next period; usually lasting 10-16 days with 14 being the average.

Don’t worry if it sounds too difficult! The majority of online calculators require only the most basic of information, so if you find one that wants information you can’t give, just move on to the next calculator.

The ultra low tech way to get your fertile dates is to use your diary or pda, and enter your cycle start dates as a diary entry. Then, all you need to do is subtract 14 from the predicted date of your next period, and voila - you have an ovulation date. Of course, this is not accurate, so assume you might be fertile + or - a couple of days of that date.

The best way to narrow this down is to check your basal body temperature, and pay attention your vaginal secretions they will change during ovulation. If you can narrow this down and find the exact day of ovulation it will make using a fertility calculator to get pregnant a much more reliable source, increasing your chances of conception greatly.

This is just the tip of the iceberg in increasing your chances to conceive. There’s so much information I want to share with you, but there isn’t enough space on this article! You can combine the use of your fertility calculator with other natural fertility techniques, so you can get pregnant in the shortest time possible.

Choose The Right Hinge For Your Project

Because the display of hinges in a home improvement and hardware stores can be dizzying to the inexperienced homeowner, many need some help to know which hinge is correct for the woodworking project or home repair. The first essential step would be to narrow the selection based on weight, shape and size, so that the hinge will be appropriate for the materials used in the project. Large heavy hinges are fine for doors, but not appropriate for smaller, delicate wooden boxes and so on.

In addition, some hinges are designed as reversible hinges, so that either end can be mounted to the top. Other hinges are more decorative and must be installed in a certain position. There are also hinges for left-hand and right-hand doors to consider as well. The loose-pin hinge used for hanging doors is made so that the hinge pin is inserted and removed from the top. Right-hand hinges and left-hand hinges can be distinguished by simply standing on the outer side of the door to see if the door opens to the right side or to the left side.

One detail that some do-it-yourself homeowners don’t consider is how much of the hinge will be visible when the project is complete. If the hinge shows, it may be best to choose something more decorative, though some homeowners prefer simple and functional hinges to show as well. This depends on personal taste. Some people prefer the hinge to be hidden, so thought should be given to how the hinge will function in this case.

Shopping for the appropriate hinges can be much easier if the homeowner can ask good questions and understands the printed information about each type. This list may help.

? Back flap hinge ? a version of the butt hinge, commonly used for furniture

? Ball-bearing hinge ? permanently lubricated but slightly more expensive, for heavy-duty doors

? Butt hinge ? normally range in size from 13 mm to 150 mm. Varieties include rigid pin and loose pin. Often used for mounting home doors and cabinet doors

? Butterfly hinge ? for lightweight doors, in a variety of shapes and patterns

? Double-acting hinge ? opens in either direction, usually on folding doors

? Flush hinge ? less strength than butt hinge, often used for cabinets, concealed except for hinge barrel

? Knuckle hinges ? loose joint hinge, decorative, shows only the knuckle

? Offset blind hinge ? full opening and swing away, screen/storm doors

? Parliament hinges ? when hinge pin must extend past door face

? Pivot hinge ? versatile, recessed doors, overlay doors, flush doors

? Spring-loaded hinge ? automatically closes door, adjustable tension available

? Table top hinges ? leaf section tables

? Concealed hinges ? 25 mm to 36 mm in size, adjustable after fitting, chipboard and MDF

In addition to these hinges, there are a number of specialty hinges, including the strap hinge, T-hinge and continuous hinges. Some are designed for heavy-duty use while the continuous hinge is perfect for chest lids, cabinets and so on. A piano hinge is a continuous hinge.

These devices can be a life-saver if you don’t have months to wait to conceive. It’s a little known fact that you’re only fertile for about one day in the month (sometimes it can be a few hours), so it’s quite easy to miss your chance to conceive.

You’ll have to provide some information so the calculator can do its job. Don’t worry - they don’t need to know your life history - just a few facts. The important thing is to ensure that the info the calculator requires is correct.

The good news is there are not many sites that ask for this information; most fertility calculators only ask for the first day of your last period and the amount of days in your cycle.

Some people prefer to use a pen and paper to work out when they’re ovulating. If this is you, and you’re looking at your journal dates, you can count backward 14 days from the time your next period is going to start, and this will be your approximate ovulation date. This is not an exact science, so assume you might be fertile 2 days before and 2 days after that approximate ovulation date.

To get best results, combine the use of a fertility calculations with charting your basal body temperature and identifying when this rises, keeping notes of changes in the way you feel mid-cycle, and checking your cervical mucus every day.

I’ve spent years trying to combat acne, but it was always a losing battle until I came up with this simple three part process to get relief from acne quickly!

Taking care about the skin is the major factor these days, so take care of your skin these three are important aspects that you need to focus on.

1. Avoiding Dehydration is must

Our bodies are made up of mostly water, and it is the most important thing to put in your body, especially if you want clear skin! Drinking lots of water will help keep your skin beautiful and hydrated and it is the easiest and most helpful thing you can do to keep your skin clear. Every process in your body needs water to function, especially your kidneys, which remove excess wastes from your body. If toxins are not flushed out, they can lead to embarrassing and unsightly acne.

2. Best Process to Avoid “One Size Fits All” Acne Prevention Plans

As every person’s skin is different, there will be some what different prevention plan. Applying the products to overcome the problem of acne is some what risking thing to do, because this may lead to other problems mainly it may react to your skin.

If you have a lot of blackheads and whiteheads, it is important for you to clear out the pores. And also if you have large red swollen pimples, you need product to clears the bacteria infecting your pores.

So, it is very important for you to look carefully at your skin to figure out what actually the problem is. Then read the product labels to make sure they’re a good fit. Because these products contain the harmful chemicals which may effect your skin, so it good for you to look carefully at your skin to know what actually the problem is and then you need to take the further steps.

3 - Don’t ignore your pimples without treatment

Even the best of skin care regimens will still allow a few pesky pimples. But thing here is when pimple appears you can get rid of it quickly if you go for the right treatment.

First assess whether or not you can drain it. If it is near the surface of the skin and can be drained easily, go ahead. But if it is deep under your skin, don’t drain! It will only tear your skin and irritate it, making it more prone to infection and further pimples.

After you have decided whether or not you can drain, wash and dry the area. Then treat with a cream that will help dry it out. There are many of these available, just follow the directions carefully.

The best options to use a cream that will help heal what is left of the pimple to get rid of scarring. Neosporin is the best one which works well for many types of skin, but use it sparingly as it is thick and oily and may clog pores!
