i have read lyrics with all three different words: "feigning", "fiending" and "feening" feigning is the only REAL, proper word of those. the other two are used as SLANG. but they do mean to want something badly or to have a craving for.and feigning is to give a false appearance of or to pretend.so i'm not sure which it really is, but in those ways, they all make sensehowever, i have read lyrics also that say "finding" and that makes no sense whatsoever. beautiful song either way. =D

Well, according to wiki, Fiending isn't a word, neither is feenin, but I believe that feenin IS a word. BECAUSE ITS A FUCKING WORD IN THE SONG. god people!

You know what you are right. I just came on to listen to this song b/c I caught myself singing it and I hadn't heard it in forever. Its a great song. I used to liten to the cd over and over when I first bought it back in 99'. Wow time flys...
